I recently bought a new home and contacted LI for some work. Frank and Nicole were very helpful. How many companies answer the phone at 8 PM? A technician was scheduled within a week to install a Nest outside security camera. He did a great job, using an existing hole in the brick exterior. I don’t remember the installer’s name (began with an “R”) but he was very helpful. They gave my elderly father a veterans discount which was great. Note that they don’t take credit cards, so you have to make other arrangements for payment.
They answer calls on holidays! Wow, I am amazed! My cameras just started malfunctioning, no footage and images. We were so confused. My wife was in panic mode as that was our vacation home… I called other companies, no luck of course but when I called them they actually picked up the phone. The rep was nice and willing to help. He even helped my wife calm down throughout the process and sent the tech right away. These guys are great, highly recommend!!!
I received a flyer in my mailbox last month, I am not the type of person to hire companies to do jobs that I can do myself. We have been doing so much on the house I just didn’t have the time to do any of the smart home upgrades my wife and I wanted so we set up a call. I requested to have the installer work while I was off and home and while I was doing other projects at my house. It was a great experience to see how all of it was done professionally and not by myself! I later hired them to repave my driveway and bring power from my house to my shed. We have had two other electricians that claimed to know how to install Nest products attempt to install our Nest hello video doorbell and fail. I called LI Contracting and they sent a technician the same day that was able to install our door bell perfectly at a more than fair price. We HIGHLY recommend this company for your nest product needs!
I was extremely pleased with the work of L.I. Contracting. I found them listed on the Nest website as Nest Pros. I knew my Nest Hello doorbell installation was going to be complicated. My house had a very old intercom doorbell system with low voltage wiring and no existing doorbell chime. Several other electricians and contractors (including Nest Pros) declined to take the job because it was not a simple install. Frank was very skilled and creative in finding a way to use the existing wiring and boost the power by installing a transformer. He also found a great way to mount the doorbell on the previous doorbell hardware. (I thought I was going to have to pay a lot to cover the hole from the much larger intercom doorbell. Frank was also excellent at setting up the Nest system and explaining how it works. I would definitely recommend L.I. Contracting for any Nest-related installations and I plan to hire them again for some other smart home projects I would like to do.
L.I. Contracting came over to fix my Nest C wire issue. Phenomenal service, fantastic work ethic, honest, polite. The Tech was supposed to come next day but called and said he had time tonight. How refreshing to not beg a vendor to come over and no excuses that it is too cold. He came and stayed late till the job was done. Did he ever know his stuff. No wonder they are an Elite Nest Vendor. Having LI come back to to do more work!
